ALPHA DELTA PI
A letter from our president
My sisters and I warmly welcome you to the Delta Kappa Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at the Pennsylvania State University! My name is Sarah Dathe and I am honored to serve as chapter President. Each day spent with my sisters has uncovered wonderfully unique identities and interests. I’m endlessly impressed with their efforts and achievements in their professions, academics, and friendships.
Alpha Delta Pi has not only given me a lifetime of sisterhood with 200 ambitious and passionate women, but it has led me to be a better sister, friend, and leader. I want to use this term to mold and lead a chapter of confident and supportive women.
One of our popular symbols, the four-pointed diamond, symbolizes the strong values that our sisterhood is based upon. Our creed defines each point on the star as a commitment to strengthening our own character and personality, watching our attitudes towards our fellow-beings, recognizing the values of high educational standards, and developing faith and loyalty. Simply put, “We Live For Each Other”. I am so proud to be a part of a community that demonstrates these values to strengthen ourselves and each other every single day.
